WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
I think it is important that people know how easy my time abroad was. I did not run into any major issues, and had very little trouble acclimating. It is scary to know how many things can go wrong, but I also knew that the CEA CAPA staff was there as a safety net, if I should need them.

HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
To engage with the local community abroad, I made sure to visit what the locals consider the cultural centers. In Ireland, this was mainly cafes in the day time and pubs in the evening. Grabbing a meal here was an easy way to sit down and experience their pace of life and see how the locals interacted with each other. Both CEA CAPA staff and the Irish public were very willing to give recommendations on what had to be done to experience the depth of the local culture.
