My favorite part about my internship was planning a site visit for other CEACAPA students. Not only was it rewarding, but seeing my boss's excitement from our support made it more personal. I am so happy that CEACAPA supported me throughout this process.
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
Working in a small shop, I regularly engaged with locals and in the end we had built strong relationships. They taught me their favorite recipes, favorite places to eat, and all the hidden gems and history! They made a positive impact on my experience.
