Riley Woodford, Program and Student Services Coordinator
London, England
Riley is a Program and Student Services Coordinator at CEA CAPA London. While Riley hails from Durango, Colorado, her love for travel has led her all over the globe. In her final year at Colorado State University, where she was majoring in International Studies and minoring in History, she studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. This experience was incredibly impactful and inspired her to move back to South Korea upon graduating, this time to the city of Daegu, to teach English. She would live there for three years, teaching at three separate public schools. When she wasn't teaching, she helped lead orientations for incoming English teachers from all over the world, helping them to overcome culture shock and become acquainted with Korean work culture.
Upon returning to the United States, she worked at a project-based high school as a Special Education Paraprofessional, ensuring that students with IEPs and 504 plans had a supportive, inclusive, and accessible academic experience. She would later move to the United Kingdom to be with her husband she had met during her time in Daegu. Her passion for study abroad led her to the CEA CAPA London Center, where she works to support students on their own study abroad journeys, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience.
