Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
Experiencing a new culture can provide depths of knowledge that cannot otherwise be taught in a classroom. There is deep wealth in the diversity of knowledge, thought, and experience. I chose to study abroad to experience diverse perspectives in my area of study, political science.
Why did you choose your study/intern destination?
As a native of mountain-riddled Colorado, I am elated to encounter the beautiful mountains surrounding Grenoble, France! With French as my minor, I applied to study in Grenoble to improve my French listening, reading, and speaking skills as I submerse myself in the culture!
What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
As a political science student, I am eager to take a class on International Policy. After reading the syllabus, I believe that the class will challenge me and enhance my political analysis skills. The class allows me to work with other students in the class, allowing me to learn international politics from new perspectives.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
Athletics and competition drive me. When I exercise or compete, I feel most at home. I enjoy competing in basketball but thoroughly enjoy running and weight training as stress relievers.
