Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I want to explore a new culture outside of my small bubble. I love learning new languages, cultures, and traditions so I can become a global citizen. I chose France so that I can further develop my French fluency and culture, and even better in Aix-en-Provence where I can get the most local and authentic experience!

Why IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I hope to meet as many new people as possible! People are by far my favorite part of travel and I hope to be able to develop close friendships with people from a different culture who can give a different perspective on the world.

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I'm of course excited for all of my classes: international economics, business French, and French Culture and Food. However, I am most excited about the French Culture and Food course where I'll be able to add some French to my vocabulary, taste different dishes, and most importantly learn how to prepare some local French dishes!

WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about? 
I'm very passionate about music and I am excited to not just learn but actually experience the different musical tastes in France and see how similar or different it may be to what my friends and myself listen to at home. I'm also very excited to see the different foods, especially because I am gluten free and would love to see what that might look like in France.
