Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I value the transformative experience of immersing myself in a new culture, which enhances my understanding of global perspectives and enriches my studies in political science and philosophy. I selected the Czech Republic for its rich history, its role in European politics, and its unique transition from Communism to democracy, which offers valuable insights into governance and legal systems. This destination perfectly aligns with my academic interests and goals of exploring global political and legal frameworks.

WhAT IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
One new experience I’m hoping to have while abroad is engaging in meaningful conversations with locals to gain insight into how their cultural and historical perspectives shape their views on governance and legal systems. I also look forward to exploring community initiatives and advocacy efforts related to accessibility and inclusion in the Czech Republic, which will provide valuable lessons to bring back to my studies and future career.

I am most looking forward to International Relations Research Methods.

I am passionate about exploring the intersections of law, ethics, and social justice, particularly as they relate to advocating for marginalized communities. I enjoy discovering new cultures through travel, engaging in thoughtful discussions about philosophy and governance, and finding creative ways to share stories through writing and photography.
