HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I participated in local events and joined community events to experince the city life in London. During Eid (a mulsim holiday) there was a big event in Trafalgar Square, where I met so many amazing like minded individuals. I also worked an internship during my time abroad so it was fun interacting with local food vendors during my lunch breaks. My friend also recommended me to use an app called "TooGoodToGo" and it was great being able to try local resturants for an affordable price.

Interning abroad was probably my favorite thing abroad, aside from all the travel experiences I got to do. I am so grateful that I got to work in London, one of the biggest business capitals of the world. London has so many different cultures and people of different backgrounds, it was great being a part of that inclsuive atmosphere.
