WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class while studying abroad was my cross cultural management class. In this class we discussed cultural differences that are present in professional environments and how to manage and mitigate differences between employees in the workplace. It was very interesting to hear the guest speakers who have worked with people from different cultures in a business setting and hear there stories about foreign culture practices. It made me realize how different cultures behave and that culture is a significant factor that has to be considered in a professional environment. I did not understand how heavily culture influenced work but it is definitely something that dictates the behavior of professionals

HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
For the most part in my time abroad I would eat out almost every meal but it would normally be in the same places. Because of this I managed to develop a relationship with some of the people that worked at the restaurants I would usually go to. It became so habitual that I would enter the restaurant sit down and they would already bring my drink and for the most part could guess what I was going to order.
