Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad during my last semester because it has always been a dream of mine to be a student in a foreign country! As a Spanish minor, Alicante, Spain was my top choice because of the vibrant location, practical language usage/practice, and great program that fulfills all my university requirements, while providing an abundance of opportunities along the way!

Why IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad, I am looking forward to traveling to favorite local spots and hopefully living with a host family! These new experiences will open my eyes to the real world of Spain, and allow me to see deeper than the initial, touristy effect. I've also never traveled independently, so I'm excited to put myself outside of my comfort zone!

What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
While in Spain, I will be a part of the Intensive Spanish Language Program. This program is broken down into three sections (one per month), allowing me to take three Spanish courses at different levels, depending on what I test into upon arrival/the completion of each course! This is super exciting as I am hoping to grow my general understanding and overall Spanish fluency!

WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about? 
Sometimes, I consider myself a hodge-podge of hobbies/interests. On one hand, I love reading, photography, crafts, singing, and dancing. On the flip side, I also love playing basketball, volleyball, being outside, traveling, and am down to try basically anything.
