Why did you choose to study or intern abroad? And why did you choose your destination? I chose to study abroad in order to challenge myself to be out of my comfort zone and explore completely new places on my own. Studying abroad was something that I planned on doing the moment I enrolled in college, because I think that experiencing different cultures can offer more exciting and outside-the-box learning. I chose Ireland because I think the people make the destinations we admire, and I had read of the friendliness and pride of Irish people. The breathtaking landscapes of cliffsides and sheep-spotted hills reflect the heart of the country.

What is one new experience you're hoping to have while studying abroad?
I hope to watch a rugby game, or listen to authentic Irish music.

What is something you're passionate and excited about?
I am very passionate for endemic wildlife, and hiking to appreciate coastal nature. Thankfully with Ireland’s diverse sea life like puffins, basking sharks, and whales, there will be no shortage of animal sightseeing.

what class are you most looking forward to taking while studying abroad?
I am enrolled in an Irish Film and Literature class, which I’m extremely excited to take. I have always loved filmmaking classes, and some of my favorite films are based in Ireland, like Billy Elliot.
