HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I engaged with local community while abroad by watching soccer games. I never knew how massive the sport of soccer was until I got to Europe. I grew up never really watching it and when I attempted playing it as a child I was not very good so for that reasoning I strayed away from the sport. Barcelona taught me how fun and chilling the sport can be. I loved being in crowds with people and them doing all their chants. I felt excluded not knowing what they were saying, but the noise echoes that you are literally apart of it, and soak in the adrenaline of the game. Fans were very passionate and that I loved because I am very competitive and am always going to cheer on my team win or lose! I enjoyed that even after a loss the people of Barcelona get upset, but are still hopeful to win the next game.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
My favorite class while I was abroad was my Cognitive Psychology class. My professor was the best and just all around a very smart, ethical, and cool person. I hope to use skills that she taught me in my career in the psychology field. Class was solely discussions and she would give us all different sections of reports to read to collaborate about it, rather than waste class time reading which was a very good way for me to learn and retain information. I enjoyed my professor because she even had her cousin talk to us about her personal experience with psychosis. I learned a lot in this class and was able to construct interesting research on the brain and athletes memory retrieval.
