1. Why would you like to be an Alumni Ambassador?
I would like to be an Alumni Ambassador because being a first generational college student that has been able to not only be successfully enrolled in college, but to have the opportunity to be the first in my family to study abroad, has made me realize that there are students in the world who are in the same position. There are students like me who have the hunger to be successful, well-rounded and experienced but don't have any knowledge or confidence that it could be done. Becoming an Alumni Ambassador will sincerely help me fulfill not only my life, but another students'. Becoming an Alumni Ambassador goes beyond me and my wants, it's the opportunity to give other people the chance, just the chance to become a better version of themselves. I can potentially change someones life just like mine has been forever changed, by studying abroad.

2. How has your study abroad experience shaped you?
My study abroad experience has shaped me today by allowing me to see the right path for my career. There has always been a constant struggle knowing what I wanted to do with my career, but studying abroad has confirmed that I want to pursue languages. I want to help students learn English, Spanish, etc. I want to help students, especially students of color, have more financial opportunities to study abroad. It has shaped me to look at the bigger picture and want to help others. Personally, my study abroad has shaped me into being a person who tries to enjoy what is in front of me. To put my cellphone down and to embrace the atmosphere around me. This experience has made me more socially aware.
