Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I chose to study abroad because I recently traveled to Germany for fun and I absolutely loved it and knew I wanted to keep traveling so I chose to study abroad in Italy because I really enjoyed what the program had to offer, location and education wise. My program in Florence seems like it has a lot to offer and I love that I also get a chance to go back to Europe.
WhAT IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
One experience I am hoping to have while studying abroad in Italy is being able to go to the spots that Florence is famous for, like the Duomo (Florence Cathedral) and the Michelangelo "David" statue. But overall, I'm just hoping to be able to experience good food and talk to good people, and to bask in a new environment.
WHAT CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING WHILE ABROAD?
I most look forward to taking Gender, Culture, and Society in Italy because I enjoy observing how people live their lives and the differences in behavior based on environment. I am also excited to take this class because it is a unique opportunity to study a country in that same country so I will be able to fully understand what is going on more easily.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
I love my major psychology, but my most long-lasting passion is dance. I have been dancing since I was four years old and I just love to do it because I use it to express myself, and I enjoy working out in general.
