Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
The city I am from doesn't have much opportunity in the fashion industry. I really wanted to branch out and immerse myself in the fashion world as much as possible. I also wanted to connect with and learn from people with a different cultural background. I think the best way to appreciate the world is to go out and live in it.

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I chose Paris as it is the fashion capital of the world. I wanted to constantly be inspired both in the classroom and on the streets. I have also been to Paris before, and like so many other people, I instantly fell in love with the city.

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I'm most excited to learn. I mean this in the traditional classroom sense, but I also mean through experience and meeting new people. I'm excited to be surrounded by such a rich culture that offers so much to experience and knowledge to be found.I am really looking forward to learning more about myself and where I fit into the world around me, as well as gaining a better understanding of what life is like outside of the US. I cannot wait to practice my French skills and make memories I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I have an unusual interest, for someone my age, in history. Particularly World War 2. I also enjoy any sort of fashion history - if there is a fashion documentary, odds are I've seen it. I'm a really social person so my biggest hobby is simply chatting with people. However, I also do love to read and write and doodle. I would also say a big hobby of mine is shopping.
