During my time in Barcelona, I volunteered as an English teacher assistant at a local elementary school. My time spent there helped me to gain valuable communication skills that transcended through the language and culture barrier.

One aspect about study abroad I share with people is how it's not actually as scary as it seems. The initial thought of going abroad can seem unattainable at first, but when you are guided through the whole process, you come to a realization that it's one of the best decisions you will ever make regarding your education.
