WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
I loved the option of Casa de Sevilla for housing because it was a great mix between a home stay and private apartment. I lived with 6 other girls and our señora would sit and chat with us in Spanish during meal times. She also helped us get ready for la Feria which was such a special moment; my host mom and roommates really made Casa de Sevilla a home away from home.

HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
While abroad, I really wanted to meet locals and at first struggled with ideas on how to do so. I ended up joining a Pádel club, taking weekly group lessons. I also attended weekly Sevillano dance lessons to practice for the Feria and expose myself to a large part of Sevilla culture. It was nice to have a recurring group setting in Sevilla, as well as practice my Spanish as the classes were taught in Spanish.
