WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
There are several stories that I share when telling people about my time abroad, but I think one of my favorite memories was seeing the Birth of Venus in person. It was just such a cool experience because I loved the painting already and even did a project on it for my class abroad so being able to see it in person was unreal. I didn't think it would be that impactful for me, but it turned out to be one of the greatest moments of my trip. And it all happened during my class!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?
I only took one class when I was abroad and it was Women, Art, and Culture in Italy. I loved the class because I was able to learn more about the Italian Renaissance and actually go and see some of the works of art in person in museums. Having the opportunity to leave the classroom was great and gave me a good sense of the city since most of the time we had to meet there.
