WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY? (IF YOU INTERNED ABROAD YOU CAN USE THIS SPACE TO TELL US ABOUT YOUR INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE IF YOU PREFER)
I unexpectedly really enjoyed my fashion history class. As a STEM major, I don't get to take a lot of humanities classes, but I actually really enjoy learning about history. This class gave me a fun break in my usually very academically rigorous class schedule and I also really loved the professor. Fashion may not be my new major, but it was fun to take a class on something I may not have otherwise ever learned anything about.
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
I did my best to attend all of the CEA-provided culture events that I could, so that I learned and experienced the culture as thoroughly as possible. I enjoyed trying new foods, attending the local movie theatre, exploring natural monuments and especially learning about the history of the country. I loved being able to dress and commute like a local and blend in. Something that I am not usually able to do on a typical vacation.
