Why did you choose to study or intern abroad?
I have always wanted to study abroad for the purpose of traveling, learning about new customs, and cultivating lifelong memories and connections. As for Madrid specifically, I am pursuing a Minor in Spanish at the University of Michigan, and am hoping that immersing myself in the language will enhance both my fluency and my understanding of the culture.
WhAT IS ONE NEW EXPERIENCE YOU'RE HOPING TO HAVE WHILE ABROAD?
I hope to travel as much as I can, always taking a genuine interest in the stories and experiences of locals wherever I go.
What CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING while ABROAD?
I'm looking forward to hopefully taking a class about the history of Spain.
WHAT IS SOMETHING you're passionate and excited about?
I'm excited to journal about my travels! I received two empty travel journals over the holidays and I'm so eager to break them open and document all of my new adventures.
