WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?
I love telling people about the small things that happen while being abroad. Figuring out how to use the public transportation, how to book a bus ticket, how to navigate the grocery stores, etc. all seem like small things, but these exploratory experiences really highlighted what it was like to be abroad for me.
HOW DID YOU ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHILE ABROAD?
CEA CAPA hosted an event called Aperiswap. In this event, my study abroad friends and I were able to meet local students around our age who lived in the area. We exchanged information about our culture and social lives over light snacks—very fun experience!
