Coming in Spring ‘24: CEA CAPA Partners with University of Sydney
Starting in Spring ’24, CEA CAPA students can start their study abroad journey and take courses at the stunning University of Sydney (USYD). USYD is one of our newest academic partners, following our recent partnership with UNYP and brings state-of-the-art learning environments and academic support services to students.
USYD Overview
USYD is committed to diversity, inclusion, and education for all, with an international population on campus comprised of students from more than 130 countries around the world. It’s located in the vibrant Darlington district of Sydney, south of the central business district. Students can get involved across campus and join in on community and cocurricular activities that cultivate a diverse, supportive, and vibrant student environment to explore firsthand.
USYD Academics
Study abroad programs at USYD will be offered as hybrid semester options with the CEA CAPA Sydney Center beginning in Spring ‘24. Students will enroll in one course at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center and three courses at USYD. Most courses at USYD are six credits each, which is typically equivalent to four credits in the U.S. semester system. This means students can earn up to 15 credits within the CEA CAPA: University of Sydney Direct Enroll program offering. CEA CAPA students will have access to over 2,500 courses that offer an incredibly flexible and personalized academic experience for all fields. It’s also among Australia’s top five research institutions and offers various courses across academic fields listed below:
- STEM
- Public Health
- Social Sciences
- Business
- Liberal Arts
