Hey friends, I’m Nia! Although I’m in Communications, Media Studies and Tourism Management, I am a student enrolled in a course at CEA Seville called the Culture of Food & Wine in Spain. In this course, we learn about Spanish cuisine both inside and outside of the classroom, integrating in class lectures and cultural experiences outside the classroom.
Last week, I had the opportunity to understand and learn about the cuisine of Spain in a cooking class! This class, “Slice It & Dice It,” was an opportunity for my classmates and me to prepare two typical Spanish dishes: salmorejo and tortillas de patatas -- and even compete for who could mimic the recipe the best.
