Ever since I decided to study abroad in Buenos Aires, I knew I wanted to spend time in Patagonia. I had heard from friends who went, about the landscapes and the incredible forces of nature at work for miles and miles across Argentina.
Our spring break finally came last week, and off I went, with my boyfriend, to the lands of Patagonia.
We bussed and hitchhiked between El Bolsón, El Hoyo, Lago Puelo, and Los Lagos Region, camping and staying in hostels with an array of other backpackers who flock to this natural paradise.
Paradise living in Patagonia |
We hiked, and we hydrated with the most refreshing water of the rushing rivers,
Water refill! |
We sat on the beach and drank mate,
Yerba Mate! The local tradition. |
We camped with the most beautiful views in front of us,
Camping in Lago Correntoso, Villa La Angostura. |
...And we cherished every minute of the endless beauty before us.
A random swing we came across while wandering Los Lagos Region. |
