The Travels of a CEA Student - from Alicante to Barcelona

I recently visited a friend studying in Alicante, Spain. She was a great model for my photo assignment, “composition”.

Composition also includes repetition; I took this on the way back from the Valor Chocolate factory!

Part of my goal is to show a side of places that get no tourist attention.

 …Including the rubbish.

The way information is displayed in Spain is through giant posters that are pasted almost everywhere.

Back in Barcelona, this is the closest metro station to my apartment.

And this is the view down my street.

Looking the other direction, anything can be turned into art.

I definitely don’t agree with this graffiti, which says, “Art is trash,” but I managed to make it artistic.

And who knew that even trash could be artistic?
