Prague International Internship Program Expanded to the Fall Semester

Do you know that you can now add an internship to your Fall 2013 semester in Prague?

We've just expanded our current summer International Internship program into a Fall semester opportunity. Students will gain valuable international career experience while earning 15 college credits interning in Prague.

For our semester internships, students typically spend about 10 hours per week in an English-language workplace. In addition to this, they will also enroll in three to four courses at Anglo-American University, which offers CEA students nearly 100 courses to choose from in a variety of subject areas including business, history, political science, humanities and more.

As an intern in Prague, you could be placed within the following workplaces:

  • International news/media outlet
  • Theater production company
  • Art museum or gallery
  • International conference or festival organizer
  • Local Czech elementary schools
  • Professional services company - law, marketing or accounting firm

These placements complement many different majors, including:

  • Communication
  • Business/Economics/Marketing
  • Journalism
  • History
  • Psychology
  • Political Science/International Studies

Because these internships are competitive, students can apply to more than one of the positions available during their semester. Placements are chosen by a contact from the internship providers. To apply, students need to submit the following documents to CEA along with the rest of their study abroad program application:

  • Current resume/CV
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Personal Statement of Interest
  • Official Transcript

Don't miss the opportunity to enroll in this Fall 2013 program and request to be considered for an internship in Prague. If you're interested in applying or learning more, contact one of our Admissions Counselors for more information.
