Never a goodbye....just a see you later - Farewell from the CEA MOJO in Rome

My all time favorites in Roma!

As you can remember from my video tour, this is my beautiful apartment in Rome. It's one of my favorite places because it all started here 3.5 months ago. This is where I met seven amazing girls that shared this phenomenal experience with me. I still remember how I felt when I walked through the door, to find out that CEA had done grocery shopping for us so that we wouldn't have to worry about getting food and all of us having our first family dinner. This was my home away from home, and I will forever cherish the memories that were made here.

This is at Miscellanea- a restaurant right by the Pantheon. I love this place for a couple of reasons. One is the fact that you can get unlimited appetizers, 2 entrees  dessert, and wine just for 15 Euros. Another reason is because we have gone to this restaurant more than any other ones since we have been here. The owner and his waiters are really nice and we had a chance to get to know them over the course of the semester. Just about everyone in our program has made some sort of an unforgettable memory here.

This is one of my favorite touristy places: the Trevi Fountain. It's always crowded with tourists and now that I have been there there, I understand exactly why. It's a beautiful thing to witness, people come here from all over the world to see the fountain and throw some coins in there. They say if you throw a coin with your right hand over the left shoulder, you will come back to Italy and if you throw another one, it will get you an Italian lover. So you could imagine how many more coins I threw in there....just kidding.

This is one of my favorite views in Rome. I took this picture on top of the Vittorio Emanuele II Monument at sunset. The scenery was even better in person. Although I love this picture, Rome is filled with places that simply take my breath away. This whole city is a museum to me, filled with exciting historical significance and outstanding beauty.

This picture was taken yesterday at our farewell dinner. I love all of the people in the picture above. They all are staff at CEA, and literally some of the most amazing people I've met in Italy. They have made this incredible city our home for the time that we were fortunate enough to spend here. They are genuine, encouraging, extremely caring, and hilarious  There is no way that I can forget any of them, as they have helped make my experience a phenomenal one!

I can't even begin to articulate how much I will miss this place, people, food, and pretty much everything else that came with it. It's an understatement when I say that the past couple of months have been the best months of my life. I am forever grateful that I have had the opportunity to partake in something so beautiful.
