CEA Global Education has been recognized as an award recipient in Abroad101’s 2nd Annual Study Abroad Rankings presented by STA Travel.
The rankings compile evaluations from students at more than 200 U.S. universities to highlight leading international education programs.
CEA’s Aix-en-Provence study abroad program was ranked No. 1 on the Top 10 Study Abroad Program category and No. 3 for Top Academic Experiences category. CEA’s Paris program ranked No. 6 in the Top Academic Experiences category.
“We’re extremely pleased with our students’ response to our Aix-en-Provence program,” said Dr. Paige Sindt, Director of Academics at CEA. “We attribute much of our students’ experience to the hard work and enthusiastic and caring attitudes of our international colleagues and our strong international academic partners, Aix Marseille University and the Institute for American Universities.”
The 2012 rankings honor the highest-rated study abroad programs and locations by American students who have studied abroad. Students complete thorough online evaluations hosted by Abroad101, which include both quantitative and qualitative responses. With more than 16,000 evaluations and 800,000 individual data points, the Abroad101 rankings provide a snapshot of student opinions on study abroad programs.
“The student responses on Abroad101 reflect some great initiatives we’ve been busy with this past year at CEA. Students will see more academic programs aimed at connecting the dots between study abroad and career development, including our new Global Career Development Certificate. We are also expanding internships and service learning in new cities, such as Shanghai, China and Dublin, Ireland. “It’s truly an exciting time to be at CEA, and for students to choose to study abroad with CEA!”
