I am proud to say that ordinary study abroad days here in London are much less than that. My life is busy and hectic but in the best sense. I have made a little family with whom I do most things, and somehow we haven’t gotten sick of each other yet. A Tuesday in my life goes a little like this:
8:00 Wake up, read some emails, do some homework or laundry if need be and get ready for the day.

10:00 Normally by this time, I will have a group meeting for one of my many group projects, usually for the class Value Creation for Customers.
11:30 Lecture time for Marketing Communications Theory

13:00 Class is out and I have a little bit of a break. Normally I will go back to my room, recap on my classes, and run some errands or plan dinner. About this time, I can expect a knock on my door from a friend just opposite the flat. Brandon stops by to say ‘hi.’ We talk about our days, do some homework and go to the grocery store.
14:00 Waitrose is our favourite. I have a Waitrose card and get free coffee. It is a peaceful walk back to the halls through a quaint little park clad with green and tall trees that remind me of home… kinda. It is getting dark by now which is strange, our daylight is now about six to eight hours.
16:00 Lecture time for Brands and Branding with Haley
18:00 Lecture time for Behavioural Aspects of International Business with Haley, Brandon, Zaid and Kyle Daniel
19:30 Class ends and we make our way back to the kitchen where, somehow I have taken the role of chef. Dinner is made, normally for Brandon, Ty and Jacob. I cook; they clean.

At least once a week, we go to the Marylebone, our favourite bar just on the high street unless we have something planned. Just in the past few days, we have been either to a Christmas lighting, a Tottenham community fireworks display, an orchestra, or a play.
I truly believe that London has made me a more optimistic person. I love just walking down the street or through the park. I love experiencing everything with the friends that I have made. Tuesdays may be filled with school and errands, but that doesn’t matter because I am in London. This still amazes me.
